Parsons CPA is a growing Charlotte-based firm looking for service-oriented, personable, growth-focused team players to service our privately held, small to mid-size business clients. Our team of 30 employees continues to grow and we need someone to lead, facilitate, and consult on the process.


Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include:

·         Primary partner with leadership to effectively promote positive employee relations.

·         Leads and executes the recruitment and in-take efforts for levels ranging from interns to executives.

·         Uses a variety of methods to identify and source candidates, including monitoring and management of job posting cycles.

·         Maintains consistent communications with candidates at all stages of the recruitment cycle.

·         Drafts offer letters and promotion/compensation increase documentation.

·         Maintains visibility with all employees and addresses any issues and concerns that are identified in a timely and professional manner.

·         Conduct initial orientation and all new-hire paperwork

·         Update and maintain all benefits records and communications.

·         Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (training, performance evaluations, etc.)

·         Schedule and document Continuing Professional Education (CPE), includes Parsons Education Initiative (PEI) materials and training videos.

·         Coordinate, communicate, and schedule various HR events & projects (benefits info updates, leadership meetings, morale events, training, surveys, etc.)

·         Assist with employee requests regarding contact information changes, benefits and company-wide information

·         Assist in updating company handbook and important employee information documents such as hybrid work policy and benefits plan documents

·         Prepare and distribute employee welcome, celebratory, recognition and incentive offerings

·         Serve as an employee advocate for employees

·         Staying current on the company’s organization structure, personnel policy, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices

·         Help with local office upkeep or other miscellaneous duties as needed


Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or related experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years Human Resource experience.
  • Excellent written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • PHR/SHRM-CP preferred.
